This performance is for local elementary schools — 3rd through 6th grade classes in Anthony, Attica, and Harper.

The Arts Center is proud to announce the casting for the upcoming production of The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition!  The 60-minute musical, designed for student performers, is based on the classic novel by L. Frank Baum and the iconic 1939 MGM movie, starring Judy Garland as Dorothy. The Arts Center cast contains 45 students led by Director Alison White, Stage Managers Ami DeLacerda, Andi Penwell, and Kristin Gilbo, Music Directors Holly McDermott & Erin Bundy.

This beloved musical adventure will whisk audiences from Kansas to the magical Land of Oz featuring unforgettable characters and a cast of talented young performers.  Enjoy timeless songs including “Over the Rainbow,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard”, and “If I Only Had a Heart” as Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion follow the Yellow Brick Road in search of courage, heart, wisdom and home. Bring the whole family for a journey full of laughter, adventure, and song, and discover once again that there truly is no place like home.
