Bob Ross Painting Workshop

Happy trees and happy accidents — come learn to paint like Bob Ross! This 3-hour class includes everything you need to paint a beautiful floral (see sample photo) from start to finish.

The Arts Center is excited to host this Bob Ross Painting Workshop on Saturday, April 13th at 9 am-12 pm, and the $60 cost includes all supplies and instruction. Space is limited, so sign up here to hold your spot!

Instructor Derese McAbee (of Butterbee Boutique out of Pratt, KS) is a certified Bob Ross instructor who hosts monthly painting workshops at the Pratt Public Library. She also holds private painting classes and classes for other businesses and organizations.

Paint a Mural at the Anthony Fall Fest

A day full of fun festivities — all celebrating fall in the city of Anthony, Kansas! Live music, hay scramble, pumpkin decorating, vendors, food, music, and FUN!

What about art events? We’ll be working on a mural at the Arts Center building, and we’d love to have your help painting! Come grab a brush, paint for a bit, and have a hand in transforming a little corner of Anthony.

Concertina Art Book Camp

This art camp combines multiple art mediums to build a landscape art project! At this art camp, artists will build a 3-D art book using paper, paint, printing, collage, and more. They’ll learn painting and printing techniques, create unique details and textures, and make their own unique world out of a paper accordion.

***This camp has been condensed into one time/age group —9-10:30 am for students going into 1st through 6th grades.

For this make&take, we will go step by step, teaching you how to use acrylic paints and turn a blank canvas into your own masterpiece. You'll take home your finished 4x4 mini canvas painting, ready to display!
