Join us, alongside some other fabulous Harper County creatives, at Gallery Mostaza’s annual farmer's market style show!  We’ll be doing two make&take projects — busy bee prints for free and exclusive event tote bags for $10, and that’s just a small part of the events offerings!

Gallery Mostaza will be open with a fresh batch of ceramic creations, and there will be live music and other great shopping (fresh flowers, cool prints, yummy cheesecakes, and more!)

The Wichita Children’s Theatre Professional Touring Company will present FLAT STANLEY at Chaparral High School on Friday, February 2nd,  2024, at 2 pm.  This performance is for students in grades 3rd through 6th.

The Wichita Children’s Theatre Professional Touring Company will present THE UGLY DUCKLING at Chaparral High School, on Friday,  February 2nd, 2024, at 9 am.  This performance is for students in grades Pre-K through 2nd.

This casting call for “Once Upon a Mattress (Youth Edition)” is open to students 4th through 12th grades. The time is come-and-go, but plan to spend 20-30 minutes with us. Come prepared with a memorized piece (something like a poem or a monologue). We’ll also include a vocal audition (we’ll teach you a short bit of music from the show, and you’ll sing it by yourself) and a short dance audition (we’ll teach you a short bit of choreography, and then you’ll present it with a group). We want to hear and see what you bring to the stage!

This free workshop is optional for auditioning for “Once Upon a Mattress (Youth Edition)”, but it’s a great chance to get some practice on the stage, brush up on those acting skills, and get some helpful pointers for your upcoming auditions!

Come join us for the 7th annual Benefit in the Barn — we affectionately call it the “Barnifit”! This fun evening is worth braving the chilly night air — we’ve got a delicious soup supper (no tickets or reservation needed!), a virtual silent auction with items curated by the Arts Center board, live entertainment, and a lively pie auction. We hope you’ll come for an evening together, benefitting the work we do, and having some fun at the same time!

Come learn how to paint the HPCO Flag, in conjunction with the August Harper County Homegrown Market at the Harper County Fair! For this make&take, we will go step by step, teaching you how to use acrylic paints and turn a blank canvas into your own masterpiece. You'll take home your finished 4x4 mini canvas painting, ready to display!
